Do you have a dress code for golfing?

For the Golf Courses, Driving Range & Duffey’s – presentable, no ripped, soiled, vulgar or offensive clothing and for the Palmer Room – Smart casual, no hats please.

How many days in advance can I book?

7 days in advance by phone or online. Go to our home page and click on the online booking icon then click on GUEST or call 604-576-4653. Please have your credit card ready in order to book your tee time either online or by phone.

What is your golf cancellation policy?

By phone or online, you may cancel or reduce your group size up to 24 hours in advance. No shows may be charged to the credit card number supplied at the time of booking. Please ensure your group is complete as booked.

What is your rain cheque policy?

Rain cheques are issued when there is lightning in the immediate area or the course super intendant deems the course is no longer suitable for play due to standing water on the greens. In both cases a one hour waiting period will be observed before a pro-rated rain cheque will be issued by the golf shop staff.

Are you a public course?

Yes. Both our Ridge and Canal courses are open to the public through the entire year.

What are your green fees?

Our green fees change depending on the season. For current fees, please visit the Green Fees page.

What is the drainage like on the golf courses?

We are considered a top course for dry conditions no matter how poor the weather is. If our area has been experiencing greater than average rainfall, please call the Golf Shop at 604.576.4653 for more up to date information.

What is the difference between the Ridge and the Canal courses?

The Ridge has more elevation changes and features a number of treelined holes while the Canal is a links style, undulating course with wider fairways and larger greens. Both courses are easy to walk and rated similar in difficulty. The PGA’s Tour Air Canada Championship was contested on the Ridge Course from 1996 to 2002.

Can a single book?

Singles should call in advance to check on availability for the day they wish to play and upon arrival at the course, they will be put on a “stand by list” awaiting the first available tee time.

When is the first tee time and why?

One hour after sunrise. This allows our grounds crew to set up the course for the day to avoid getting in the golfers’ way.

Who is the course designer?

The legendary Arnold Palmer.

Do you have 9 hole rates?

No, we do not offer 9 hole rates, just our 18 hole rates.

Do you have a beverage cart on the courses?

We have kiosks at each course located at the start first hole and between 9 and 10 for your food and beverage needs. We offer the traditional hot dogs, sandwiches, fruit, snacks and a full line of beverages. Beverage carts are seasonal and weather permitting.

Do you offer golf lessons?

Yes, please check our Academy page for package prices. We offer both Junior and Adult lessons, run a fitting centre and have a fitness studio. Learn more about the technology we use at the academy, or read up on our highly skilled instructors.

Do you have a driving range?

Yes, the Driving Range is open to the public. Grass Tees are seasonal as conditions allow, otherwise on mats under cover. Please call for up to date maintenance times, mowing , etc.

Do you have a restaurant where you can eat before or after a round of golf?

Duffey’s Sports Grill is a casual dining area or The Palmer Room, a fine dining experience. We also have a beautiful patio that overlooks the golf course – open seasonally (May – September).

Is it mandatory to make a reservation?

Reservations are recommended, especially for special events or large parties.

Do you have fine dining?

Yes, the Palmer Room can accommodate up to 65 people. Reservations are recommended.

Do you offer any buffets?

What is the difference between the regular Sunday Brunch and the Special Sunday Brunch?

Specialty Brunches such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter and Santa Brunches have more variety and offered at a higher price. Reservations for the special brunches sell out very quickly so booking in advance is highly recommended.

Can the Palmer Room cater to small groups?

The Palmer Room can accommodate up to 25 guests with special group menus. Please call our Dining Room at least one month in advance. To book the Palmer Room for a private function please call our catering department for more information. 604-574-0324 ext 231.

Can I buy a gift card from your establishment?

Yes, you can purchase gift cards in any denomination and can be used in the restaurants, golf shop or green fees. Gift Cards are now available to purchase online. ORDERNOW

Do you sell cigarettes?

We do not sell cigarettes or cigars.

Golf Courses Open

Please read all terms carefully. Your booking is 100% non-refundable within 24 hours of your tee time

Frost Delay

In the event of a frost delay please be advised that communication updates will be sent via email regarding our starting time on the morning of play. Groups will go off in their regular sequence. Please check your emails as frost delay updates will be emailed hourly. It is your responsibility to notify all other members in your group.

We are currently accepting tee times 7 days in advance!

We are taking every precaution to ensure the safety of our staff and customers and we have new mandatory policies in place due to Covid-19. There will be no exceptions to these policies. Please read our new policies set out below and the mandatory “PHYSICAL DISTANCING” that is required by the Public Health Agency of Canada to eliminate person to person contact with employees and fellow golfersThose not following these policies will be escorted from the facility without a refund given.

Booking and Paying for your Tee Time

All tee times must be booked online. A credit card will be required to secure your booking and is not charged until you check-in to the golf shop.

Tee time Payment in the Golf Shop

At this time we only allow one payment per foursome for your tee time.

Cancellation Policy

Within 24 hours of your tee time your booking is non-refundable and non-changeable.

Rain Cheques

Please be aware we do not offer rain cheques unless the course is deemed unsafe or unplayable by Northview Management.

Foursomes

Foursomes can play 7 days a week, and can book up to 7 days in advance.

Twosomes/Threesomes

Option 1: Twosomes and threesomes can book up to 7 days in advance for a tee time of 2pm or later. Book your time for a foursome online and when you check-in to the golf shop, you can play and pay as only a twosome or threesome for your 2pm or later tee-time.
Option 2: Standby booking on the same-day (Go online after 5:00am on the same day of play). Book your group for any tee time that day (the system will force you to book a foursome but upon arrival the golf shop staff will be aware that your booking was done on a standby basis on the same day) You will only play and pay as your twosome or threesome.

Singles

Singles may play after 3:30pm 7 days a week. Book your tee time online as a foursome and when you check-in to the golf shop, you will pay and play as a single.

No Shows

If your group does not show up, we will charge your credit card for four players for any tee time before 2:30pm or two players for any tee time after 2:30pm or any standby booking.

Passes/Discounts

If you have an Advantage Card, Golf Surrey Pass, Player’s Pass, Corporate Pass or Red Book please bring it into the Pro Shop and the staff will make the appropriate rate adjustment. If the Seniors or Juniors rate applies (see website for details) please show your valid ID to the Pro Shop upon check in and the rate will be adjusted.

Power Carts/Club Rentals

Power carts are available on single/double rider basis. We have a limited amount of complimentary pull carts available. Rental clubs are now available.

General Information

No additional walkers are permitted to accompany the group over and above your paid foursome. Anyone in this situation will be asked to leave the property.

No outside alcohol- strictly enforced. No social gatherings of any size are permitted in the parking lot or overflow parking lot areas. Note: drinking alcohol beverages in the parking lot is in contravention of our liquor license and could result in personal fines from the RCMP/Liquor Inspector in addition to citations and harsh penalties/suspensions to the golf club. Tailgating will not be allowed in the parking lot.

**The Driving Range is open for guests with a tee time reservation or lessons only**

If you plan to hit a warm up bucket of balls you can now arrive 45 minutes prior to your tee time. Range balls are available for purchase at the Golf shop or Ridge kiosk.

The driving range opens approximately 30 minutes prior to the first tee time with the exception of Wednesdays which is delayed until approximately 10:00am due to maintenance. Please note that on Tuesdays the range also closes early, 3 hours before sunset, due to maintenance. These times are subject to change without notice.

DUFFEY'S SPORTS GRILL

The wait is over! We are pleased to announce Duffey's Sports Grill is now open. We are very excited to share with you our re-opening plan.

We are grateful for all our guests, staff and suppliers who have supported us during these unprecedented  times. Our number one priority is the safety of everyone that patronizes our facility. We are making every effort to adhere to and exceed Provincial and Worksafe BC requirements to ensure a safe environment and dining experience for our guests and our staff.
Only online reservations will be accepted at this time. Upon arrival you will be asked for your confirmation. No walk ins at this time. We would highly recommend you make your reservation online as we have limited staff answering the phones. Online reservations will close 2 hours before your requested time. Reservations within 2 hours, please call reception at 604-574-0324 ext. 0. We are only accepting credit or debit payments at this time, no cash payments.
We have two dining options now to reserve...Patio Reservations or book a table inside Duffey's. Please book your reservation online at northviewgolf.com.

All public health guidelines will be followed per Dr. Henry and Fraser Health. This include a maximum of 6 people per reservation including children and infants. There will be no exceptions to this policy. We request you to keep your table stay to 1.5 hours.
