The Northview Golf Academy is loaded with value. Firstly, we are a “green grass” learning facility. Meaning: during the summer season, we train and coach on grass — NOT MATS. We are equipped with private teaching studios, video systems and an on-site fitness center. Custom fitting for golf equipment on TRACKMAN is a service we are also fully qualified to offer.

Our Golf Academy has privileged access to on-course coaching and a private Par 3 for short-game training. There is 14,000 square feet of putting greens plus chipping, pitching and bunkers areas for lessons and personal practice.

Each of our highly experienced CPGA and LPGA Teaching Professionals and an on-site fitness expert offer a full spectrum of programming to meet your needs. We are the “Total Package” Golf Academy!

Is Video Analysis Included in Your Programs?

Yes, video is included when it will benefit your learning. Your swing is recorded and reviewed with and by your coach. We have the ability to save this information and refer to it, when needed. Don’t worry; we never forget a golf swing!

Is My Golf Equipment Evaluated?

Yes, we believe every golfer deserves the opportunity to improve and enjoy their game. This may mean a change of equipment. Through the use of TRACKMAN, a $40,000 Doppler Radar System that our professionals are qualified to operate, we are able to determine if equipment better fit to your game is necessary. TRACKMAN tracks your swing statistics and completely details ball flight. No more guessing — the information pops up on the screen!

Is Everything Outlined in Your Brochure?

Is it Best for a Woman to Learn From a Female Golf Professional?

We get asked that a lot... no, not necessarily. What is most important is that you are totally comfortable with your learning environment.  That goes for the guys too!

Do I Have to Stay With the Same Instructor?

We do recommend it especially if you have committed to a specific series or learning program.

I am a Beginner Golfer. Where do you Suggest I Start?

Well, we have a lot of options for you. You can start with a series of private lessons or register for one of our beginner group programs.  We offer a few different ones — so call, let’s talk.

Are Your Group Programs Open to Both Men and Women?

Yes, but we have a variety of options for the beginner golfer. We also offer women-only programs. Sometimes we just don’t want the guys around….but I suppose that goes for them too.  Don’t worry guys; we can do guys only programs too!

I am a Mid-Handicap Player and I Want to get Better, a lot Better. What are my Options?

Private lessons first and foremost.  Frankly, our team believes that our golf swing is at the mercy of our ability to move properly. we may suggest a full (TPI) Titleist Performance Institute fitness evaluation to let us know exactly where your body is at. If needed our on-site fitness expert will work with you and your golf coach.  Your full swing will improve because your body will improve.  That’s a fact. Oh, we haven’t forgotten your short game! With all of our short game areas and access to the golf course for playing lessons you will get to that next level!

Do you Offer Junior Lessons?

Do we offer junior lessons???  We have kids everywhere! Learning from our golf professionals, practicing and exercising with our fitness guy, now that’s a junior program.  Believe it when I say they go home tired and hungry…... and yes, they had a great time too!  The Northview Academy offers highly specific group and private coaching programs for juniors of all ages.  Our personal websites will give you more info on this…..give us a call.

Cancellations & Other Policies

The Northview Golf Academy has an on-line booking system. Smarterlessons.com.  This on-line booking system will offer our client’s access to their golf professional’s booking information.  Telephone tag is over! Just access your booking through smarterlessons.com and schedule, reschedule or book more sessions.  Once you have signed up with a coach, you will be put in the system.  It’s easy and convenient.  We know life gets busy; this system helps you schedule us in whenever it’s convenient for you.  Lessons are not transferable.

We accept Visa, Master Card, debit, cheque or cash. Gift cards for the Academy are available.

Student Arrival

Where do I go for my Lessons?

Our Academy office is at the Northview Driving Range.  The Northview Golf Club is a big beautiful place with a large clubhouse and lots of parking but depending on how fast you walk, it will take several minutes to get to the driving range.  You may want to warm up a bit before we get started…..so plan for 20 minutes to 30 minutes ahead of time, at least for the first few sessions.  You do warm up or stretch don’t you?

Can I Stay After a Lesson to Practice?

We highly recommend it!  Practice balls are included during your lesson and we do offer an “Academy Rate” on practice balls for clients.  It’s a great deal….we can fill you in on that too when you call or meet with us.
