Executive Chef, C.C.C.
Ken Gregory started his passion for cooking in Vancouver, BC. He started his culinary career when he was 18. He has worked in many different country clubs and restaurants before putting down his roots at Northview Golf & Country Club. Chef Ken has been with Northview Golf & Country Club in the role of Executive Chef for 16 years, overseeing 4 food outlets and a staff of up to 35 in a year round operation.
Ken has 32 years in the food industry and has mentored under Canadian Culinary Olympic chefs while training mostly on the west coast of B.C. He is a member of the B.C. Chefs Association as well as the Canadian Federation of Chefs and Cooks, obtaining his Certified Chef de Cuisine certification in 2000. Ken has competed in international and regional cooking competitions as well as judging regional culinary competitions. He has taken an interest in mentoring young staff and furthering their growth in the food industry.
Chef Ken's pride and joy is The Palmer Room, a 72 seat fine dining restaurant overlooking the Ridge course's spectacular 18th signature hole. While introducing traditional and innovative dishes and using the freshest and best local ingredients, he has customers coming back for more! His style is casual and fun. Guests at Northview were always asking him for recipes and tips on cooking so in 2005 he started his own cooking classes open to the public. He is quickly becoming Fraser Valley's Celebrity Chef which is why his personality has made him a favorite here at Northview.
